Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup sweet mango salsa
- 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced red onion
- Sliced tomato
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and cajun seasoning
Mix well and form into 4 equal-sized burger patties
Season the patties with salt and pepper to taste
Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty and allow it to melt
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, until they are lightly browned
To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese
Top the patty with sweet mango salsa, sliced red onion, and tomato slices
Place the top half of the bun on the toppings to complete the burger
