Ingredients:
- 1 lb 450g chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 lb 450g fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes if using in a small bowl
Put aside
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat
Once the skillet is hot, add the sliced chicken and stir-fry it for three to four minutes, or until it turns some color and loses its pinkness
After cooking, remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate
If necessary, add a little more oil to the same skillet and add the green beans
Stir-fry the beans for 56 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender and have a hint of blistering
Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet along with the green beans, then cover everything with the sauce mixture
Stir-fry for a further two to three minutes, making sure the sauce coats the chicken and beans equally
Add sesame seeds and sesame oil to the stir-fry and mix for a short while
To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning
Since the soy sauce and oyster sauce are already salty, use caution when adding salt
If desired, top with extra sesame seeds and serve hot
